Populous Wiki

The Populous Wiki was my first MediaWiki wiki that I installed. It was originally installed on my TedTycoon.co.uk domain on the 1st May 2006. I started by writing most of the content for all the things in the game, it then started to become slightly popular with other people contributing but not as much as I hoped. I was inspired by the OpenTTD wiki which is when I first found out that wikis like Wikipedia could be created for smaller subjects such as games.
At the end of 2007 the wiki was updated and moved to the Populous Reincarnated server and domain. This gave it a more community friendly domain which didn't make it look so personal to me. It also allowed the wiki to use more updated features as the new server had the latest version of PHP. It still remains there and is currently managed by me and the administrator of Populous Reincarnated.
Over the years I have installed various extensions for the wiki, created many templates that are used in pages and edited the scripts to add more buttons on the edit page that Wikipedia has.
