Populous Scripter

The Populous Scripter or PopScripter is the first Populous application I made in VB.NET. It was written in 2007 with another Populous programmer and was released at the end of 2007. Although the program was released, it is temperamental due to the rush of finishing it and the low knowledge of .NET at the time.

The scripter included a syntax highlighting text editor with intellisense all built around the PopScript language. The syntax highlighting however is not as good as a more widely used programming editor as the program is repeatedly colouring the text in a rich text box control.

Remake

Not long after, I started a remake due to the poor quality of the original scripter, I wrote it up to the point of loading script files but abandoned it after that.
