Poker was a game I wrote in VB6 in mid 2006. It allowed four players to play five-card draw via TCP. It was my first program to use network two or more computers, the second was the MP Monitor. The game follows the exact rules of five-card draw where each player can choose 0 - 3 cards to change on the draw part of each round. The program computes what hand each player has and a score which is used to compare hands at the showdown. Each player can see what hand they have and press a button to fold, bet or call. The program was abandoned after most of gameplay was complete including online multilayer.
