Memory Game

Memory Game was a small game written in VB6 in mid 2004. The player gets a grid of turned over cards over a large background image where you have to select two which match. If the player selects two cards, he/she will be shown the two cards, if they don't match then the cards are turned back over again. If they do match, the cards are removed and more of the background picture is shown. The game allows you to guess the background image at the top before the player completes the game, this gives the player extra points if the guess is correct.

When the player completes the game by matching all the cards, their score and time will be added to the highscore table which is then saved. The background pictures are photos that I created in Terragen, a scenery generator program used to create renderings and animations of landscapes.
