Hi my name is Ted John and I live in England near Reading. I am experienced in the area of Programming, Site Design and minor Graphics. I spend most of my spare time programming utilities and lots more for my favourite game Populous 3: The Beginning. I first came up with my name because my real name is 'Ted' and a few of my favourite video games end with 'Tycoon' so I used my internet usernames as TedTycoon without a space or underscore, now I have been using this unique name ever since.

Over the years I have self-tought myself many languages. The first one I came across was Visual Basic which is a great language to start off with, from there I learnt a lot about making applications and how data works. Using my programming skills I created programs which edited the files used in Populous as I was keen on the game. I then learnt HTML to create my first website which hosted my downloads for Populous. After years of programming I have developed more complicated programs like the 'Populous Symmetry Tool' and the 'Populous Random Map Generator'. Then I started to learn some PHP script to create more dynamic sites and setup the Populous Wiki. I currently use either VB.Net or C# to create form applications and C++ to create games, all which I have a good understanding of.
